Married!

You know you're not a good blogger when people call you out on your recent lack of posting. (Sorry to disappoint you, Tara *smile.) I wish there was a way to transfer fully written posts with edited pictures and catchy titles from my mind to the computer b/c then I'm pretty sure I'd post daily.

Things have just been busy and yes, I'm behind. I had five shoots in 8 days last week (God is so awesome to be providing for us in that way!) and we traveled to Wisconsin for Laura and Dan's wedding over Memorial Day Weekend. Needless to say, I have lots and lots of pictures to edit and things with my dream become reality photography business have massively picked up in the last couple months - praise Jesus! (Take a look here to see all the beautiful babies, children, and families I've recently been blessed by!) I don't know what I'd do without my husband who comes along side me in everything I do.

Time for some PICTURES!

I realized I never posted any pictures back in February from Laura's bachelorette party in Iowa City. We had a great time painting pottery, eating sushi, and catching up!

Fast forward to WEDDING DAY!

The setting was beautiful and Laura looked amazing! (So did Dan *smile.) They didn't let a little rain ruin their day!
Trying to get Gwendolyn to smile was a popular game. Chris won!
 Beautiful bride and groom!
They had you take your own Polaroid picture for their guest book. Quite fitting considering Laura's a photographer!
Bluegrass music is fun! Megan's son Drew was dancin' up a storm!
Remember Gwendolyn and Emmett last 4th of July?!
I just love these girls! Laura and I have been friends since we were two or three years old. That's almost 30 years! I love the ease and comfort that comes with friends who know your life story. And love you anyway!
So thankful my hubby knows how to run the camera!
Dance! Dance! Dance!
How adorable are these two?!

We decided to stick around Chippewa Falls for another night and make a little weekend of it. So glad we did. It was just what I needed...Gwendolyn slept great so Tom and I were able to read during her naps and watch TV in bed (so great!) and just kind of get away from it all for a few days.

Swimming was fun!

Eating snacks in bed is fun!
Learning about beer is fun!
(So are free samples!)
Seeing bears up close is fun!
But eating ICE CREAM is the most fun of all!
Guys, we're talkin' best ice cream. Ever.

Gwendolyn agreed. Man, that was good.

Let me tell you something about our daughter.
She's serious.
She is an observer.
She is cautious.

I wouldn't say she's shy, but she definitely takes things in. She is a ham at home - sometimes laughing at the silliest things (a cat commercial, for example.) But yes, around new people or places she can be a bit more timid. (Tom's mom says he was the same way when he was little so it makes sense!)

This video captures the real Gwendolyn Rebecca Barntsen, and I just love it! She gets SO excited about certain things - being chased and eating ice cream are two of them!
I love the joy of a child (especially my own child)! Gets me every time.

We had a wonderful time in Wisconsin and wish Mr. & Mrs. Dan Hiller a lifetime of joy and happiness! Love you guys!
